It was a childish moment, I was in Primary school that time. My parents brought my sister and I to Toys'R'Us 2 days in a row, during that time, I loved cats.
Those two days, my parents got me two different coloured cats, one was white, and the other was orange.
On that day, I first named the white one Jerry, based on the first letter of my name. And then, I used to name the other one "friend". Then suddenly, I changed the name to Larry, a fitting name for a brother.
Originally, both my Jerry and Larry plushies used to look identical, both very thin with round shaped head.
As the years go by, my two original Cat duos were lost. So by the time when I was 18, I started to save up my money, of course I wouldn't forget my duo, I bought them both!
And that's how the Cat duo were reborn! And that was from the mid 2017 to late 2018.
Birth of the Ninja element
It was in mid-2017, when I was studying Foundation Diploma in design course, I enjoy making props and weapons all out of newspaper and cardboard, thanks to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the inspiration.
During that time, I enjoyed watching cat videos, they were hilarious! They were jumping all over the place, doing their cat reflexes. Then, the idea popped out of my head.
"Larry and Jerry were my childhood toys, and they're cats. I'm thinking of making the cat-like reflexes in ninja mode for them."
