PAST DESIGNS
The Anime saga

In the past, The Nekota Ninjas was originally called "Paws and Claws Elements", and was supposed to be an anime, two human-cats (Jerry and Larry) were avenging the death of their parents and their lost elder brother "Gurei Nekota" from the evil bunny mad scientist that cause the zombie bunny apocalypse.
They were both human-cats, and had a really edgy type story. However, both their designs were supposed to look almost the same, except Jerry has to look older than Larry, both of them even has whiskers and the same coloured ninja gi. But they kept their original weapons and their coloured bandanna.

This was Larry's original colour scheme, following the colour and personality of Michelangelo and Raphael from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Reel saga

This was the second attempt of a redesign of Larry, but the first in his normal cat form. This was mainly for the school's demo reel project and my skills as an artist, animator and character design has to be included. Which is why Larry has to be the main star, along with the character I made back in Primary school, but retouched, that hero name is "Hero" Harold Joe!

In this version, Larry has 2 designs.
One with being in a more humanized style form, similar to the Dreamworks Puss in Boots but with hair.
The other design is more of an old 30's style cartoon, with bigs heads, small body, sausage fingers and Pac-man pupils. It's very well-known to the style of Mickey Mouse in the 30's.

The Cartoon saga

After a really long break from the final year project, the brothers finally reunites, Jerry makes the return and Larry makes a comeback.
The first cartoon design for the two were now based on shapes and sizes.

Jerry's first design was a 3 head tall character, with an emerald shaped head and rectangular shaped body.
Following the original Jerry, he is furrier and taller than Larry, with an addition of 5 fringes facing in one direction.
Jerry looks like Larry when he was in the Reel saga the first version.

Larry's first design was a 2 head tall character, with an oval shaped head and a rounded body.
Like Jerry, Following the original Larry, Larry is less furrier and shorter than Jerry, he also have a rounded tail and no whiskers.
In this design, Larry had 4 fringes facing in 2 directions. He's also very tiny, it's like you can't even see his arm when he's flexing.

After a careful check from a friend of mine, who I'm working with to make this project, we did a redesign together of how to make them look exactly like they're brother, and their faces, expressions and their body poses matches their personality.
Like Larry, he's energetic and fun, so he's more in a free form of shape.
And Jerry, he's serious and still, so he's more of a angled shape to match his seriousness.
THE FINAL
DESIGN

Jerry's Final Design
He grew a bit, and slimmer than Larry, the five fringes are still with him, the furriness is still with him,the emerald shaped head and the rectangular shaped body is still there.

Larry's Final Design
He is still the same height, the oval shaped head and the rounded body is still there.
Larry now have five fringes, and like the old design, they're faced in two directions, 2 facing left and 3 facing right. Moreover, on both tips on Larry's head, there are one each of tiny fur point sticking out.

Conclusion
We've been through a lot going through 4 different sagas, but the good thing is that I still have more plans for the Nekota Ninjas. New sagas or more, the Neko-brothers will look forward for the new adventures for them to embark!
